The Ascend Agent is a utility that is installed on a computer in your store which helps retrieve and synchronize store information between the Ascend Point of Sale System and Retail Toolkit.


Installation is a breeze - simply navigate to your Locations page on Retail Toolkit (https://app.retailtoolkit.com/manage/location) and click the "Show" button.  In the Data Sources table at the bottom of the location page, click the "Edit" link for the Ascend_Agent data source.


On the data source page, click "Download Customized Agent Installer" to download a pre-configured Ascend Agent.  After downloading, run installation on the Server where you have Ascend installed.  During installation, all configurations and credentials to connect to Retail Toolkit and Ascend will be automatically set up for you.
